A Legacy That Guides Us
Our History
Cedar House began in 1973 as Amigo House, a 12-bed residential program in Bloomington, CA founded to help men struggling with alcoholism through detox, treatment, counseling, and education. More than 52 years later, Cedar House Life Change Center has grown into a multi-site provider serving San Bernardino and Riverside counties. Today, we offer accredited withdrawal management, residential, perinatal, and outpatient care for adults with substance use and co-occurring disorders, using evidence-based practices and accepting Medi-Cal and private insurance.
