Social Science Services (SSS) Inc., dba Cedar House Life Change Center (CHLCC) is dedicated to improving the lives of those suffering from chemical dependency by providing high quality, evidence-based therapeutic clinical treatment services with a full a continuum of care while educating and engaging the community through open communication and outreach activities. What started as a small 12-bed alcohol treatment facility for men in 1973, named “Amigo House”, is now a multi-facility, treatment and housing organization providing a full continuum of services dedicated to assist all adults in overcoming the challenges of chemical dependence in order to create “A Total Life Change.” CHLCC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation centrally located to serve the Inland Empire and is Medi-cal certified. In an effort to match the needs of the culturally diverse population served, CHLCC employs a culturally diverse staff of highly skilled professionals. All of CHLCC’s programs are licensed by the State of California Department of Health Care Services.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
